Job summary

Leland Care in New York is seeking a Founding Head of Operations to turn strategy into execution and build the operating backbone of a fast‑moving, regulated health startup.

You will own four areas: force multiplier to the CEO, compliance and billing rails, revenue cycle, and analytics and reporting, driving cross‑functional work, hiring, onboarding, and board‑level updates.

Expect high‑leverage decisions, ownership of outcomes end‑to‑end, and the chance to shape a company at the earliest stage.

Qualifications

• Generalist operator with ability to run cross‑functional projects
• Hands‑on clinical billing experience including Medicare/Medicaid or commercial billing
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and deliver results in a fast‑paced startup
• Strong project management and coordination across teams
• Experience supporting fundraising and board prep is a plus

Responsibilities

• Own four areas: force multiplier to the CEO, compliance and billing rails, revenue cycle, and analytics/reporting
• Run special projects end‑to‑end, drive hiring/onboarding, support fundraising and board prep
• Stand up billing and compliance infrastructure including audits and documentation
• Build and oversee reporting backbone, track outcomes and provide clear progress updates to team and board
