Job summary

Traversal in New York is hiring a Founding GTM Recruiter to build and own our go-to-market hiring engine from zero-to-one. You’ll run full-cycle recruiting across Sales, Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, Partnerships, Marketing, and Operations.

This high-ownership role works with founders and GTM leaders to define profiles, build pipeline, run tight hiring loops, and close exceptional talent in a competitive market.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of full-cycle GTM recruiting experience, ideally for enterprise SaaS roles
• Ability to source and close candidates independently
• Strong stakeholder management with founders and GTM leaders
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong closer instinct
• High ownership and comfort operating with ambiguity and limited process
• Strong organizational skills for high-volume searches

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle GTM recruiting and sourcing through offer and close across multiple open roles
• Build and run a proactive GTM top-of-funnel with outbound, inbound triage, and referrals
• Lead intro calls to qualify candidates while selling the mission, team, product, and growth
• Define hiring profiles with founders and GTM leaders; calibrate the bar and interview loops
• Drive the close for GTM hires with offers and competing job options
• Contribute to GTM recruiting processes and long-term pipeline building
