Job summary

BackOps is seeking its first in-house GTM recruiter to own the end-to-end recruiting process for sales, customer, marketing, and related roles. You will source aggressively, run tight interview loops, and close candidates who aren’t actively looking.

You’ll partner with hiring managers to raise the bar, track funnel metrics, and shape sourcing and closing strategies. Based in San Francisco, you’ll help build a high-growth GTM organization with impact.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of full-cycle recruiting experience
• Experience at early-stage or high-growth startups
• Hiring GTM talent across sales and customer-facing functions
• Sourcing passive candidates rather than waiting on inbound
• Strong closer with a track record of winning offers
• Clear, compelling communicator who can convey a company's mission and culture
• Based in or willing to relocate to San Francisco

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle GTM recruiting — from kickoff through close — across sales, customer, marketing, and adjacent go-to-market roles
• Build and run sourcing strategies that surface high-caliber, often passive candidates
• Partner with hiring managers to calibrate the bar and run structured, high-signal interview loops
• Track and improve funnel metrics — time-to-fill, offer-accept rate, source quality
• Represent BackOps authentically to candidates — tell the story and close with conviction
• Manage multiple GTM searches simultaneously without compromising quality or candidate experience
