Job summary

JETSET Pilates is seeking a Founding General Manager to bring a new studio to life. This entrepreneurial leadership role partners with ownership to recruit, train, and launch operations, build community, and set standards for an exceptional client experience.

After opening, you’ll lead day-to-day studio operations, drive founding member sales, manage schedules and staffing, and sustain growth through a hands-on, data-driven approach.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of operations or general management experience, ideally in boutique fitness, hospitality, or a luxury membership-model consumer service environment.
• Proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams—ideally across multiple locations or in a pre-opening context.
• Demonstrated self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit—takes initiative and thrives where playbooks are evolving.
• Strong sales instincts with experience driving revenue targets and coaching others to do the same.
• Highly analytical; comfortable building reports, interpreting data, and making data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities

• Execute local grassroots marketing and build relationships with local businesses and influencers.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop founding Instructor and Studio Lead team prior to opening.
• Lead onboarding and operational training initiatives; foster accountability and hospitality.
• Partner with ownership on launch readiness and establish studio workflows.
• Build schedules, staffing plans, and operational standards; ensure a successful opening day.
• Drive founding membership sales and coach the team on consultative sales techniques.
• Provide regular updates on launch readiness and identify opportunities to improve systems.
