Job summary

JETSET Pilates is seeking a Founding General Manager to bring a new studio to life, partnering with ownership to recruit, develop the team, generate local buzz, establish operational excellence, and lead a studio launch.

Following opening, you will oversee day-to-day operations, drive membership growth, and maintain exceptional client experiences while teaching 6-8 classes weekly and maintaining studio presence.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of operations or general management experience in boutique fitness, hospitality, or luxury service.
• Proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams across locations or pre-opening context.
• Entrepreneurial spirit with initiative and problem-solving in evolving playsbooks.
• Strong sales instincts with experience driving revenue targets and coaching others.
• Highly analytical with data-driven decision making and metrics insight.
• Exceptional organizational skills managing competing priorities.
• Outstanding communicator who connects with clients and team members.
• Hands-on fitness instruction or coaching experience preferred.
• Passion for community building and local wellness.

Responsibilities

• Launch prep: execute pre-opening marketing and build a pipeline of founding members.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, and development of the founding team.
• Establish studio workflows, schedules, and operational standards for opening day.
• Drive founding membership sales and pre-sale campaigns.
• Provide regular updates to ownership and identify system improvements.
• Support future studio openings and multi-unit growth as the brand scales.
