Job summary

Yora Nordic Spa in Portland, CT, opens in November 2026 and is building its founding Front Desk team. The Front Desk Concierge will handle reservations, arrivals, departures and payments while creating warm, genuine connections with guests to ensure a simple, welcoming experience.

This full-time, on-site role supports pre-opening readiness and ongoing guest service excellence. You're joining a company introducing hydrotherapy, wellness experiences and a retail/bistro offering.

Qualifications

• Prior guest-service, wellness, retail or similar customer-facing experience is preferred.
• Genuine interest in creating welcoming and memorable guest experiences.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Comfort using reservation, POS, payment and related technology systems.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to stay calm, professional and positive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Welcome every guest with warmth, confidence and genuine conversation.
• Create smooth arrival and departure experiences reflecting Yora's standards.
• Manage reservations, check-ins, check-outs and payments accurately.
• Provide information about hydrotherapy, wellness, memberships and retail.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond with care and professionalism.
• Support locker management, guest flow and wait-time expectations during busy periods.
