Job summary

Yora Nordic Spa is building its founding Housekeeping team in Portland, opening in 2026. This hands-on role supports clean, calm, and well-presented spaces for guests from the start of operations. The candidate will be part of a collaborative team ensuring quick restoration and thoughtful upkeep throughout the day.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, independent work, and a warm, professional guest interaction. Flexible scheduling and pre-opening responsibilities are expected.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping, spa, hotel or guest-service experience is an asset but is not required.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to exceptional cleanliness.
• The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team.
• The ability to remain organized while managing multiple cleaning and guest-area priorities.
• A warm and professional approach when interacting with guests.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, restock and restore assigned guest-facing and back-of-house areas to Yora's standards.
• Maintain change rooms, washrooms, relaxation spaces, pool decks, circulation areas and other assigned spaces throughout the day.
• Complete scheduled walkthroughs and resolve cleanliness or presentation concerns before they affect guests.
• Turn over lockers efficiently while maintaining exceptional cleanliness and presentation.
• Replenish guest amenities and supplies according to established levels.
• Follow assigned cleaning routines, departmental checklists and deep-cleaning schedules.
