Yora Nordic Spa in Portland, CT opens November 2026 and seeks a Front Desk Supervisor to join our founding team. You will lead day-to-day front desk operations, coach a guest-focused team and ensure a warm, seamless arrival for every guest.

The Front Desk Supervisor will be part of Yora's founding Front Desk team. Working alongside the Front Desk Manager, this role will help prepare and support the team who will welcome Yora Nordic Spa's first guests when we open to our community in November 2026. This role is anticipated to start in mid‑October 2026.
The Front Desk Supervisor brings the Yora guest journey to life, one guest at a time. This hands‑on role leads day‑to‑day Front Desk operations during assigned shifts, coordinates guest flow, coaches Front Desk team members and helps every arrival, interaction and departure feel welcoming, genuine and effortless.
This is a full‑time, on‑site position. The Front Desk Supervisor must be available to work a flexible schedule that may include mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays based on business needs. Additional flexibility will be required during the pre‑opening and opening periods.

This position works primarily indoors and requires a highly visible presence at the Front Desk and throughout the spa, with occasional work in outdoor areas. The role involves extended periods of standing and walking, periods of sitting and computer use, regular bending and reaching, climbing stairs, and lifting and carrying routine office, training or guest‑service materials. While moving through operational areas, employees may encounter changing temperatures, humidity, steam, moisture, outdoor weather conditions and wet or slippery surfaces. The employee must be able to perform the essential functions of the position safely, with or without reasonable accommodation.
