Job summary

Wing, a startup-backed AI venture, is hiring a Founding Field & Events Marketer to own North America events with end-to-end ownership. You will collaborate with sales, marketing, and product to convert booth activity into meetings and revenue.

You will manage shows across North America, partnering with vendors and venues, and travel 30%–50% during peak seasons. This is a high-ownership, fast-paced role at a growing company.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years in event marketing, field marketing, or event coordination in B2B/tech.
• Proven track record delivering end-to-end events.
• Experience budgeting and forecasting for events.
• Ability to define KPIs and link activity to pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Source and prioritize events; maintain a rolling 12-month calendar.
• Negotiate with organizers, sponsors, vendors to maximize ROI.
• Plan and execute end-to-end event logistics (booths, shipping, AV, catering).
• Be on-site at events; manage setup, troubleshooting, and teardown.
• Prepare teams with objectives, points of contact, and schedules.
• Collaborate with sales to book pre-show meetings and post-event follow-ups.
• Run pre- and post-event campaigns with marketing (email, landing pages, paid, social).
• Manage event budget; track costs and forecast risks.
• Define KPIs and publish post-event performance reports.
