Job summary

Wing Assistant is seeking a Field & Events Marketer to own our presence at industry events across North America. You will source shows, run them end to end, and be the on-site lead ensuring every event drives pipeline.

This hands-on role is ideal for someone 1–4 years into their career who loves logistics, thrives in fast-paced settings, and collaborates with sales, marketing, and product to convert booths into meetings and opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1-4 years of experience in event marketing, field marketing, or event coordination.
• Experience organizing events end to end, at various scales.
• Experience managing an events budget and forecasting spend.
• Comfortable defining KPIs and building reports linking events to pipeline/revenue.
• Interest in AI to automate or improve event workflows (research, outreach, reporting, content drafting).
• Familiarity with HubSpot CRM is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Source and prioritize events; own a rolling 12-month event calendar.
• Negotiate and contract with organizers, vendors, and venues; optimize sponsorships and booth space.
• Plan and execute end-to-end event logistics: booth design, shipping, swag, lead capture, AV, catering, travel.
• Be the on-site point of contact at events; set up/tear down, troubleshoot, maintain brand presence.
• Prepare the team with objectives, talking points, and logistics; ensure team knows where to be and when.
• Drive pipeline with sales; book pre-show meetings, run events, ensure leads are captured and followed up.
• Run pre- and post-event campaigns with marketing (email, landing pages, paid, social) to drive traffic and bookings.
• Own the budget; track costs, forecast, and make smart trade-offs when priorities shift.
• Define KPIs for each event and provide clear post-event performance reports.
