Job summary

Johns Hopkins University in Washington, DC, seeks a Sr. Administrative Coordinator to join the Dean's Office as the School of Government and Public Policy builds its foundation.

You will provide essential day-to-day support to newly appointed faculty and staff, manage calendars, coordinate meetings and logistics, and assist with budgets and records management. The role requires discretion with sensitive information, a strong customer-service orientation, and a proactive, self-directed approach

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or graduation equivalent.
  • Four years of related experience.
  • Additional education may substitute for required experience to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, support, and organize daily activities of the office or program.
  • Provide complex administrative, project, and calendar support to senior leaders.
  • Manage calendars and coordinate meetings and logistics.
  • Assist with budget administration including monitoring, reconciliation and developing projections.
  • Develop and manage administrative projects (databases, reports, records control, course materials).
  • Coordinate purchasing and reconcile department bills.
