Johns Hopkins University is seeking a Director, Divisional HR for the School of Government & Policy (SGP) to lead strategic HR initiatives in workforce planning, talent management and organizational effectiveness.

The role focuses on building processes, aligning with university policy, and driving data-driven HR solutions in a dynamic, start-up-like environment within the District of Columbia location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR or related field; ten years HR experience.
• Education may substitute for experience per policy; equivalency considered.
• Experience with HRIS/HR technology and regulatory compliance knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Lead development and implementation of talent acquisition, retention, onboarding and off-boarding programs.
• Oversee compensation, benefits, performance management and workforce planning activities.
• Collaborate with Central HR and legal to ensure compliance and policy alignment.
• Develop staffing projections and succession plans for budgeting.
• Design and execute performance management with results-based goals.
• Coach leaders on management, recognition and opportunities.
• Manage HR department budget and drive diversity initiatives.
• Partner with HR to ensure fair, equitable pay practices.
• Represent the division on HR leadership and cross-functional committees.
• Provide monthly LMS and HRIS reports and analyses.
