Job summary

Strategic Employment Partners (SEP) is helping a seed-stage NYC startup hire its first dedicated Product Manager for Founding role focused on AI and voice tech in NYC. You’ll own how the product appears in the market, work directly with the two co-founders, and translate vision into shipped features for a fast-moving, cross-disciplinary team.

This hybrid role in Chelsea/Manhattan requires hands-on, builder-oriented mindset, front-end fluency (React/TypeScript), and daily use of AI tools to drive

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Product Management experience, or founder experience in lieu of it.
• Has taken a product from zero to one (shipped and adopted, not just designed).
• Can code on the front end (React/TypeScript-level fluency).
• Daily, fluent user of AI tools in your workflow — not just occasional use.

Responsibilities

• Own how the product shows up in the market, translating vision into shipped features.
• Work directly with the two co-founders to align on strategy and execution.
• Tackle unsolved AI product problems around agent UX, conversation intelligence, and trust.
