Oak View Group in Baltimore, MD seeks an experienced Executive Chef, The Founders Room, to lead culinary operations for The Founder’s Room inside The Paramount Baltimore. You will build the program, ensure top-quality food, and manage the kitchen from opening through ongoing service.

As part of the opening team, you will set recipes, costs, staffing, and standards; work closely with the Restaurant Manager and event teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences for concerts and private events.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of progressive culinary experience at executive level.
• Experience in upscale, high-volume, full-service restaurants.
• Experience opening a new restaurant is strongly preferred.
• Strong cost control, purchasing, and inventory knowledge.
• ServSafe or equivalent food safety certification preferred/required.

Responsabilités

• Direct all culinary operations for The Founder's Room.
• Develop and execute a high-quality menu.
• Establish recipes, portion controls, and presentation guidelines.
• Ensure consistent food quality and execution during every service.
• Oversee daily kitchen preparation, service, and closing procedures.
• Recruit, train, and develop the culinary team.
• Work with the Restaurant Manager to coordinate FOH/BOH operations.
• Lead pre-opening culinary program development.
• Manage food and labor costs; monitor waste.
• Ensure food safety compliance.
