Job summary

Adaption is seeking a Head of Operations to serve as the founders' right hand and operational leverage in a fast-growing startup environment. You will own end-to-end initiatives, coordinate logistics for travel, and ensure the distributed team stays aligned as the company moves from 0 to 1.

Expect irregular hours and short-notice requests, with a focus on proactive problem-solving, ruthless prioritization, and owning critical projects end-to-end.

Qualifications

• 1–6+ years in operations or founder's office in a startup.
• Willing to travel with founders and handle logistics.
• Strong organizational and logistical instincts.
• Willing to work irregular hours and on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Founder leverage: act as central point of leverage and clear operational friction.
• Handle tasks across operations, procurement, and team logistics.
• Build rituals, channels, and infrastructure for a fast-growing distributed team.
• Context-switch between strategic problems and urgent operational needs.
• Travel with founders for investor meetings, conferences, hires, offsites.
• Own high-priority cross-functional initiatives from concept to execution.
