Job summary

Kiewit Foundations Co. is seeking a Superintendent to lead field operations on major geotechnical projects across North America. You will set and enforce safety, quality, schedule, and cost performance while developing and guiding on-site crews.

Ideal candidates have a strong background in specialty foundations and geotechnical construction, with excellent communication and teamwork skills to drive project success on diverse sites.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in planning, scheduling and management of deep foundation operations.
• 5+ years supervisory experience as a superintendent.
• Hands-on knowledge of foundation/ground improvement equipment and troubleshooting.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Self-starter with ability to learn company policies and software.
• Deep knowledge of ground improvement and SOE operations.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and grow Jr. Superintendents.
• Review and approve labor rates for foremen and crews.
• Manage subcontractor/field communication and meetings.
• Develop client relations on site.
• Lead problem-solving meetings with client.
• Oversee monthly cost updates and quarterly cash flow.
• Review and approve change orders.
• Plan project completion and turnover.
• Maintain daily diary for records.
• Ensure timely performance evaluations for direct reports.
• Recommend organizational/process improvements.
• Review and approve promotions up to General Foremen.
