Job summary

Veit is seeking a Project Manager/Estimator to own deep foundation projects from bid to final completion. This role blends estimating and project management to develop competitive bids, plan work, and collaborate with field operations for safe, efficient delivery.

You will manage costs, schedules, contract requirements, changes, and client relationships while identifying constructability challenges and supporting profitable project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree; 5+ years of experience or equivalent.
• Proficient in construction bidding and project management software.
• Strong communication skills across management, vendors, and clients.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; MS Teams desirable.

Responsibilities

• Seek out and complete bid opportunities through client relationships and postings.
• Develop and maintain relationships with current and potential clients.
• Estimate projects for bid submittals by reviewing plans and specs.
• Coordinate pre-construction meetings to ensure communication between PMs, field, and office.
• Manage project costs, schedules, changes, and client relationships.
• Ensure safety, on/under budget, and timely completion.
