IDEM Systems in Central Florida is seeking a Human Resources Manager to architect our people operations from the ground up in a hybrid Orlando setting. You will lead recruitment, onboarding, payroll, benefits administration, policy development, and compliance, partnering with leadership to shape a culture that aligns with our mission.

The role demands a builder mindset, strong communication, and meticulous handling of confidential information, with a focus on employee fulfillment and regulatory

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably with some experience as an HR generalist or department of one.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and best practices.
• Experience with full-cycle recruiting, payroll processing, benefits administration and HR compliance.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to handle confidential information.
• Builder mindset to develop processes from scratch in a fast-growing company.

Aufgaben

• Manage full-cycle recruitment, postings, sourcing, interviewing and offers.
• Develop onboarding program to integrate new hires into culture.
• Attract top talent for defense and public safety sectors.
• Serve as main point of contact for employee inquiries and conflict resolution.
• Foster culture of creativity, innovation and employee fulfillment.
• Develop performance reviews, recognition, engagement and career paths.
• Coordinate payroll in compliance with regulations.
• Administer benefits programs and liaise with vendors.
• Oversee workers’ comp, unemployment, leave, and HR records.
• Maintain HRIS records and update policies and handbook.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and industry regulations.
• Run HR reporting, audits, and other projects.
• Advise leadership on compliance risks and organizational development.
