IDEM Systems is seeking a hands-on Human Resources Manager to architect our people operations in Central Florida. You will own recruitment, onboarding, payroll, benefits, and policy development while partnering with leadership to shape a culture focused on fulfillment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of HR experience, strong legal knowledge, and a builder mentality to design essential processes from scratch in a fast-growing defense/public safety-focused company.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including full-cycle recruiting and payroll.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Experience building processes from scratch and handling confidential information.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to work in Central Florida.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment including job postings, sourcing, interviewing, and offers.
• Develop onboarding programs and integrate new hires into the culture.
• Lead performance reviews, recognition, and career development initiatives.
• Coordinate payroll processing and administer benefits programs.
• Ensure HR practices comply with labor laws and regulations.
• Maintain HR records and administer HRIS systems.
• Advise leadership on compliance risks and organizational development.
