Job summary

Family First is seeking a foundation grants manager to oversee grant-seeking efforts. This role reports to the director of development and supports strategies across foundations, grants, planned giving, and the development team.

Responsibilities include researching opportunities, managing the proposal process, maintaining templates and records, and providing grant performance reporting. The ideal candidate has nonprofit development experience and excellent communications skills.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in nonprofit development with grant writing and planned giving.
• Experience with foundation research tools and donor systems (HubSpot, Candid preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Aligned with Family First mission and All Pro Dad/iMOM programs.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.

Responsibilities

• Research and identify grant opportunities aligned with the organization's mission.
• Remain informed on grant opportunities, funding trends, and philanthropic developments.
• Establish a repository of grant proposal templates and maintain supporting documentation.
• Manage all aspects of the grant submission process and track outcomes.
• Provide tracking and reporting for granted funds and deliverables.
• Coordinate with estate planning vendor on planned giving campaigns.
• Execute campaigns to improve matching gift donations with development managers.
• Handle other tasks as assigned by leadership.
