Job summary

The Family Tree is seeking a Development & Communications Associate to support fundraising, grant management, and communications efforts. The role oversees day-to-day Development Office operations, aids the Director of Development, and helps with communications campaigns to raise awareness and engagement.

Responsibilities include managing Raiser's Edge, processing grants, coordinating volunteers, and supporting events and board activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• 1-3 years development or communications experience.
• Experience with motivating and mobilizing volunteers, staff and board; database experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Development Office database Raiser's Edge, update records and pull reports as needed.
• Coordinate and process gift acknowledgements.
• Assist with private and government grants in Raiser's Edge; track actions and prepare reports.
