Job summary

Housing Forward seeks a Manager of Grants to lead foundations fundraising and grant management. The role identifies funding opportunities, develops proposals, ensures compliance, and steward relationships with funders.

With oversight from the Vice President of Development, you’ll shape and execute a comprehensive grants plan to grow foundation revenue. Ideal candidates bring 2–6 years in nonprofit grant writing, track record of securing gifts, and strong written/verbal communication.

Qualifications

• 2–6 years of experience in a grant writing role within nonprofit/fundraising.
• Experience developing and implementing a comprehensive annual foundation plan.
• Proven track record of securing gifts and meeting fundraising goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead organizational fundraising through foundations and grants.
• Identify opportunities, develop compelling proposals, and ensure compliance.
• Manage donor relations, reporting, and foundation stewardship.
• Develop and implement a campus-wide grants strategy with timely reporting.
• Maintain donor database and track fundraising metrics.
• Collaborate across departments to gather data and fundraise effectively.
• Write grant applications, case statements, and sponsorship proposals.
