Foster Supervisor
The Arizona Humane Society is seeking a dedicated and motivated Foster Supervisor to join our team at our Papago Park Campus. This position is scheduled Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and plays a vital role in advancing AHS's core values of Innovation, Compassion, and Excellence.

The Foster Supervisor supports the team by facilitating coaching, training, feedback and ensuring day-to-day efficiencies. The Foster Supervisor will work alongside the team to model and teach Veterinary technical skills, matchmaking, and Foster support. The Foster Supervisor provides an excellent experience every time for our Foster Heroes, the Foster Team, and the pets we serve. The Foster Supervisor helps promote and support a culture of innovation, compassion and excellence with a positive, can-do attitude.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
There may be occasional wet floors, animal noises, odors, and exposure to dander. Most time will be spent in a typical air conditioned and heated office environment.
