Abbott House in Bronx, NY 10453 seeks a Home Finder & Recruitment Supervisor with strong assessment, writing and oral skills. You will manage staff, recruit and train foster parents, and conduct home visits, maintaining NYS CONNECTIONS record keeping and collaborating with the PSA Compliance Specialist and the Youth Care Worker & Case Aide Supervisor.

Qualifications

Associate degree preferred.
Valid driver’s license and car required.
Bi-Lingual (English & Spanish) required.
Experience working in child welfare.

Responsabilités

Manage and supervise the Home Finding and Recruitment staff.
Create an ongoing foster parent recruitment plan.
Schedule and conduct the Foster Parent MAAP training & mandated trainings.
Review and approve the home studies written by the Home Finding & Recruitment Staff.
Assure foster parent case records in Connections and in the hard copy file are up to date and accurate.
Coordinate Foster Parent Recruitment & Retention events.
Assist the Program Director with calls to the Home Finding Hotline by answering inquiries or concerns from foster parents.
Ensure staff comply with NYS, OCFS, ORR, DSS and ACS foster care regulations.
Supervise home visits across Westchester County and all NYC boroughs.
