Job summary

Catholic Guardian Services in New York, NY seeks a Foster Home Certification & Recruitment Supervisor to lead Homefinding and Recertification teams. You will guide staff through certification processes, maintain compliance with ACS and OCFS, and ensure timely approvals to create safe, stable environments for children and families.

Qualified candidates hold an MSW or related field and have supervisory experience, strong leadership, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field is required.
• Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience or 5 years in child welfare.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency with computer systems and electronic case documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Homefinders and Recertification Caseworkers to promote growth and team success.
• Oversee foster home certifications, annual recertifications, and kinship licensing per ACS and OCFS guidelines.
• Maintain deadlines, documentation, and regulatory compliance for submissions.
• Manage accurate recordkeeping and reporting in Connections/FAD, Binti, and MyEvolv.
• Support foster families by ensuring comprehensive home assessments and strong relationships.
• Collaborate with Family Foster Care, Intake, and program leadership to address placements.
• Track performance with systems and reports to meet program goals.
• Promote quality services through team meetings and case reviews.
