Responsibilities

• Conduct outreach in targeted communities for recruiting foster homes.
• Develop and distribute advertisements/fliers for recruitment purposes.
• Receive and respond to inquiries from prospective foster parent applicants.
• Conduct foster parent orientations in-house and at outside organizations.
• Co-lead foster parent recruitment engagements with staff and adolescents.
• Screen and interview foster parent applicants and collect licensing documents.
• Prepare documentation to ensure licensure of new applicants.
• Lead foster parent support groups and training events.
• Represent the agency at meetings and task forces as assigned.
• Conduct home visits during licensing process.
