Catholic Guardian Services in New York, NY, seeks a skilled Foster Home Certification & Recruitment Supervisor to oversee our Homefinding and Foster Parent Recertification teams. You will guide staff through certification, recertification, and kinship licensing processes, ensuring timely approvals, regulatory compliance, and high-quality service for children and families across the city.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field required.
• Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience or 5 years of experience in child welfare.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency with computer systems and electronic case documentation.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, mentor Homefinders and Recertification Caseworkers.
• Ensure timely foster home openings, annual recertifications, and kinship licensing per ACS and OCFS guidelines.
• Monitor deadlines, documentation, and regulatory submissions.
• Oversee accurate recordkeeping and reporting in Connections/FAD, Binti, and MyEvolv systems.
• Support foster families with home assessments and maintain positive relationships with prospective, current, and kinship foster families.
• Collaborate with Family Foster Care, Intake, and leadership to address placement needs and challenges.
• Develop and maintain tracking systems, management reports, and performance measures.
• Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
