Catholic Guardian Services in New York, NY is seeking a Foster Home Certification & Recruitment Supervisor to oversee our Homefinding and Foster Parent Recertification teams, ensuring timely approvals and regulatory compliance.

This leadership role requires an MSW and 3+ years supervisory experience in child welfare, with bilingual English/Spanish a plus. You will guide staff, manage certifications, and collaborate with ACS/OCFS to support safe, stable foster placements.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience OR 5 years of experience in child welfare.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, mentor, and evaluate Homefinders and Recertification Caseworkers to promote growth and teamwork.
• Ensure timely foster home openings, annual recertifications, and kinship licensing per ACS and OCFS guidelines.
• Monitor deadlines, documentation, and regulatory requirements to ensure accurate submissions.
• Oversee recordkeeping and reporting within Connections/FAD, Binti, and MyEvolv systems.
• Support foster families by ensuring thorough home assessments and positive relationships with families.
• Collaborate with Family Foster Care, Intake, and program leadership to address placement needs and challenges.
• Develop and maintain tracking systems, management reports, and performance measures to support program goals.
• Participate in meetings, case reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives to promote quality services.
