Job summary

Heartland for Children in Bartow, Florida seeks a Recruitment Specialist-Communications to develop and implement strategic communications and marketing efforts that support foster parent recruitment, retention, caregiver engagement, adoption awareness, and community outreach across digital and print channels.

The role includes creating content calendars, managing social media, updating the website, producing promotional materials, coordinating events, and supporting fundraising and media

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications or related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in traditional and online social media communication.
• Experience with website content management and functionality.
• Graphic design experience desirable; strong writing for different social networks and demographics.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain positive working relationships with HFC customers and internal stakeholders.
• Develop and implement communication, marketing, social media, and engagement strategies for recruitment, retention, caregiver support, adoption awareness and community outreach.
• Create, manage, and distribute content across digital, social media, email, print, and multimedia platforms with consistent branding, messaging, and tone.
