Heartland for Children is seeking a dedicated professional to recruit, engage, and support prospective foster families through community outreach and resource development. You will build relationships, plan events, and guide families through licensing and placement processes.

The role requires flexible hours including some nights and weekends, and involves collaborating with community partners and providing ongoing referrals and support to families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Associate's degree in human services or related field preferred.
• Two years of experience working with children and families is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Establish and maintain positive working relationship with Heartland for Children customers.
• Plan and coordinate recruitment activities in the community.
• Attend community events with flexibility of working nights and weekends.
• Work with community partners in recruitment efforts.
• Perform administrative and data entry duties related to community outreach.
• Recruit prospective foster families.
• Coordinate with the foster home licensing team on other recruiting/retention efforts.
• Provide ongoing support of resources and referrals.
• Perform special projects as assigned.
