Job summary

Baptist Children's Homes of NC, Inc. seeks a Foster Care Licenser/Trainer to support licensing and training of foster homes, develop plans with families, and coordinate with the Division of Social Services.

The role emphasizes teamwork, family engagement, and compliance with state standards. The position requires a Bachelor's in Human Services or related field, 2+ years of experience, and a valid driver’s license for transporting children; MAPP certification is preferred as an instructor

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field is required.
Two years of experience with the population served is required.
Valid driver's license and ability to transport children by agency vehicle.

Responsibilities

Supervision: participate in regular conferences and staff evaluations; keep supervisor informed.
Policies and Procedures: work within program guidelines and licensing standards.
Professionalism/Teamwork: contribute to a collaborative foster care team and share information.
Clients/Foster Families: recruit, orient, and train foster parents; provide ongoing training.
Record Keeping: maintain accurate case files and documentation.
Knowledge and Training: stay current with foster care trends and maintain required certifications.
Faith & Mission Alignment: support BCH's Christian mission and behavioral expectations.
