The role requires a Bachelor's in Human Services, 2 years of relevant experience, a valid driver's license, and a commitment to family-centered care, cultural sensitivity, and continuous quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or related field from an accredited University or Accredited Seminary.
• Two years of experience with population served.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate an agency vehicle to transport children.
• Capability to manage, plan, organize, implement, monitor and maintain agency programs and adhere to accreditation standards and N.C. licensing requirements.
• Meets the general qualifications for employment as outlined in the institution's personnel policies.
• Respects the cultural diversity of children, and strives to create a positive relationship.

Responsibilities

• Prepares for and participates in regular supervisory conferences.
• Participates in staff performance evaluations.
• Keeps supervisor informed on current status of total work responsibilities.
• Functions within guidelines of the Program of Intentionalized Services and represents the agency professionally.
• Demonstrates knowledge of supervising foster home program and works as a team member.
• Supports the foster home team in providing daily care and maintaining a positive environment.
• Leads and participates in team and family conferences and coordinates plans of service.
