Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field
• Two years of experience with population served
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate an agency vehicle
• Ability to manage, plan, organize, implement, monitor and maintain agency programs
• Meets the general qualifications for employment per institution policies
• Respects the cultural diversity of children and strives for positive relationships

Responsibilities

• Prepares for and participates in regular supervisory conferences
• Participates in 90-day and annual staff performance evaluations
• Keeps supervisor informed on current status of responsibilities
• Functions within guidelines of job description and Program of Intentionalized Services
• Represents the agency’s philosophy, purpose, and programs professionally and objectively
• Demonstrates teamwork within the foster home team and supports other team members
• Facilitates conferences and coordinates the Plan of Service with families
• Recruits and licenses foster families and provides required training
• Maintains necessary case records and reports as required by policy
