Job summary

One More Child seeks a Foster Care Licensing Specialist to recruit, license, and support foster families across the assigned area, traveling as needed. The role requires flexibility, including nights, weekends, and on-call duties for child placement.

The Licensing Specialist will license and relicense homes, ensure training compliance, and maintain detailed case records while meeting program standards and CBC/DCF expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or a comparable human service field (CWLC/CWCM/CWCPI consideration).
• CWLC/CWCM/CWCPI certification through Florida Certification Board required within 1 year of pre-service training with post-test attempts.
• Two years of social work experience, preferably in foster care.
• Valid State Driver’s License within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Meet and maintain caseload standards and goals.
• Recruit Christian foster homes that meet program standards.
• License and relicense Foster Homes in a timely manner.
• Visit Foster Homes quarterly and ensure CBC/DCF compliance.
• Provide 24-hour on-call support to families and respond to placement needs.
• Coordinate placements and discharges ensuring bed utilization.
• Maintain updated case records and databases.
• Participate in continuing education for certifications and requirements.
