Job summary

National Youth Advocate Program is seeking a licensed, experienced Foster Care Licensing Coordinator in Columbus, OH to manage annual re-certifications, maintain licensure for foster homes, and ensure compliance with community, organizational and regulatory standards.

You will recruit and train foster families, conduct home studies, maintain records, provide ongoing support, and travel daily to deliver on-site services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or equivalent Human Services field.
• Active professional licensure; LSW preferred.
• At least 1 year of direct service with youth and families.
• Willing to work flexible/non-traditional hours.
• Ability to work respectfully with diverse cultures.

Responsibilities

• Develop recruitment strategies for viable licensed foster homes.
• Support potential foster parents and promote reunification goals.
• Maintain licensure by completing home studies and annual evaluations.
• Conduct face-to-face meetings with foster families to remove barriers.
• Maintain foster home records and provide training and support.
• Travel daily to provide community-based services.
