Job summary

Necco seeks a Foster Care Case Manager to work with children and foster families across office, school, and community settings, guiding care plans toward permanency. You will develop treatment plans, coordinate services, and monitor progress with a supportive, collaborative team.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years casework with children, valid driver's license, and strong communication, documentation, and regulatory knowledge to ensure safety and compliance while traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• 21 years of age or older.
• Current LSW or LPC or Bachelor's degree in human services-related field (OH, KY, GA).
• Bachelor's degree with field experience of 2 years (WV).
• Bachelor's or Masters degree from accredited four-year college/university (Tennessee).
• Degree must be supplemented by at least 7 hours in behavioral sciences (e.g., social work, psychology, sociology).
• One year of casework experience can substitute for 7 hours.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children with emotional or behavioral problems.
• Valid Driver's License and liability insurance coverage (100/300/100).
• Strong organizational and written/oral communication skills.
• Ability to navigate multiple software systems (Microsoft Office, databases, EHR, dashboards).
• Successful completion of required criminal background checks and drug screenings.
• Willingness to travel and attend training.
• Successful completion of required job training.

Responsibilities

• Participate in referral matching for children and families; advocate for best home match.
• Develop and implement Initial and Comprehensive Treatment Plans.
• Facilitate and complete biopsychosocial and other assessments.
• Refer child to behavioral health and independent living supports.
• Ensure initial legal documents are obtained; develop safety plans during intake.
• Create and monitor Individualized Treatment Plans (ITP) for consumers.
• Assist with implementation, tracking, and monitoring of CPTs.
• Train and support foster parents and children to meet goals.
• Meet state/licensure requirements for contact with caseloaded children.
• Ensure all medical and therapy services are delivered as per service plan.
• Serve as liaison between Necco, placement agencies, and community resources.
• Attend service meetings with stakeholders; coordinate education contacts.
• Provide school coordination to meet education goals; maintain education relationships.
• Deliver training and ongoing support to foster families and children.
• Review documentation for licensure and accreditation compliance; maintain confidentiality.
• Contribute to Corrective Action Plans for foster parents and tasks.
