Job summary

Notion is seeking a Forward Deployed Architect to help customers translate AI ambition into scalable Notion architectures. You will design workflows, governance, and AI use cases, then implement hands-on across discovery, solution design, and launch planning.

Based in San Francisco or New York City, you’ll partner with customers to drive durable adoption, measurable outcomes, and durable operating layers for teams through Notion’s platform.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in tech services/consulting, solutions architecture, implementation, customer engineering, or a similar customer-facing role.
• Proven ability to translate ambiguous customer goals into clear workflows, implementation plans, solution architectures, and measurable success criteria.
• Strong consultative discovery skills, including mapping current-state workflows and identifying pain points.
• Hands-on AI builder mindset with experience using AI tools to design, prototype, automate, or improve real business workflows.
• Technical fluency with APIs, integrations, data models, automation, enterprise systems, developer workflows and implementation tradeoffs.

Responsibilities

• Partner with customers on forward deployed engagements from discovery through launch, translating business goals and workflow requirements into scalable design.
• Design scalable Notion architectures that map workflows, governance, integrations, and AI use cases.
• Deploy AI-native workflows using Notion AI, custom agents, automations, Workers, and developer platform capabilities.
• Lead adoption planning, enablement materials, and launch approaches to drive measurable value.
• Create repeatable patterns and packaged solutions from customer engagements.
