Codesearch AI in New York City seeks a forward deployed engineer to join a fast-moving platform team. You’ll translate customer requests into tangible data tools, dashboards, and interfaces on short cycles, and you’ll help decide what belongs in the core product.

This full-time on-site role reports to a founder and collaborates with researchers and platform engineers. You’ll ship quickly, extend data gathering and tooling, and keep customers at the center of the roadmap.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years shipping production software - full-stack, backend or founding engineer.
• Experience in fast-paced environments shipping meaningful work.
• Technical degree in computer science or a STEM field.

Responsabilités

• Take customer requests, scope, build, deliver, and hand off quickly.
• Convert expert-produced data into exact customer-spec data outputs.
• Provide usable interfaces quickly (dashboards, portals, internal tools).
• Extend data-gathering systems, often with temporary plugins or fixes.
• Flag recurring requests and advocate for productization.
• Collaborate with research and platform engineers to shape the roadmap.
