Actively AI in New York seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to join our revenue-focused team. You will work hand-in-hand with customers, own pilots, onboard data, and collaborate with ML, product, and engineering to scale success from day one.

Bring strong Python and SQL skills, ML basics, and a founder’s mindset. You’ll translate customer needs into robust solutions, deliver measurable ROI, and help shape our product while expanding our enterprise footprint.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented translator able to understand stakeholder requests and translate into code or logic.
• Engineer with depth in Python and SQL, with familiarity with ML fundamentals and LLM-based products.
• High ownership operator who acts like a founder to unblock progress and drive customer success.
• Customer-obsessed mindset with a focus on understanding pain points and delivering value.
• Fast learner with steep trajectory and hands-on delivery experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle of onboarding new customers — from integrating with Salesforce to configuring our system to deliver real results.
• Run multi-week pilots, helping prove ROI and guiding customers toward full conversion.
• Stay close to customers post-onboarding, iterating on performance and adoption.
• Analyze data and model performance, dig into GTM workflows, and collaborate with engineering to improve outcomes.
• Build tooling, workflows, and processes that reduce onboarding time and increase self-serve capability.
• Partner with founders and product/engineering teams to drive roadmap decisions from field feedback.
