Job summary

Salesforce is seeking Forward Deployed Engineers to design, build, and deploy agentic AI solutions inside enterprise environments. You will join a delivery team with a Deployment Strategist, owning real components end-to-end and pushing solutions into production from day one.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in software engineering or technical delivery, a CS-related degree, and strong Python/JS/Java/Apex skills. Travel ~25% and the opportunity to work with frontier AI tools are key perks.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering or technical delivery experience, with at least one production system.
• Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Prior customer-facing technical delivery experience is required.
• Fluent in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Apex.
• Hands-on with LLMs and prompt engineering.
• Understanding of data modeling, APIs, and integration patterns.
• Ability to work with sales teams and customer architects.
• Willingness to travel ~25%.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy agentic AI solutions inside enterprise environments.
• Collaborate with Deployment Strategist and Senior engineers on complex deliveries.
• Own components end-to-end from architecture to production.
• Build data pipelines and integrate with Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, and Databricks.
• Develop dashboards and KPI reporting for deployment health and outcomes.
• Contribute to proofs-of-concept and MVPs that move quickly to deployment.
• Partner with customers to translate challenges into actionable agentic solutions.
