Job summary

Salesforce is seeking Forward Deployed Engineers to design, build, and deploy agentic AI solutions inside enterprise environments. You’ll join a delivery team and partner with a Deployment Strategist to ship production-ready deployments from day one.

This role expects 3+ years of software delivery experience, a CS degree, and hands-on work with Python/JS/Java/Apex, LLMs, and data integration. Willingness to travel ~25% is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years software engineering or technical delivery experience.
• Experience with customer-facing delivery.
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Apex.
• Hands-on with LLMs and prompt engineering.
• Strong data modeling and API integration knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI agents and experiences that take real actions for organizations.
• Design prompts, reasoning, tool calls, and integration with customer systems.
• Own end-to-end components from architecture to production.
• Build data pipelines using Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery.
• Create agent performance dashboards and KPI reporting.
• Collaborate with customers and partners to share best practices.
