Job summary

OpenGov, Inc. is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to serve as a dedicated practitioner within the Applied AI team, focused on Sales/GTM use cases across the revenue organization — SDR outbound, AE pipeline and opportunity management, and CSM account management and renewals — along with the account/opportunity intelligence that feeds all three.

This role sits at the intersection of seller workflows, revenue systems, and applied AI, and includes hands‑on GTM engineering: building the workflows,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools and agent orchestration systems.
• Proven ability to build and improve sales/revenue workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own the AI-native signal-to-action layer for Sales and design the automation for SDR, AE, and CSM actions.
• Build AE and CSM workflows with deal-risk and renewal signals.
• Serve as product owner for in-house revenue systems and set roadmap priorities.
• Design human oversight and approval gates for every agent shipped.
• Develop evaluation frameworks and production monitoring for agent behavior.
