Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to design, build, and deploy enterprise AI solutions inside customer environments. You will work with multi-agent systems, data grounding, and API-led integration to connect Salesforce Data Cloud, warehouses, and ERPs, delivering production-quality code from day one.

You will collaborate with Deployment Strategists and AI Engineers, shaping agent workflows, tool calls, and real-time data pipelines while traveling 25-30% for on-site deployments

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering or technical delivery experience, with AI/data/enterprise integration deployments.
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Apex.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy enterprise-grade AI solutions inside customer environments.
• Write production code and engineer real-time data grounding systems.
• Manage multi-agent communication protocols and tool execution across AI agents.
• Develop APIs (REST, GraphQL, webhooks) and integration pipelines to connect AFO/Agentforce with Data Cloud, data warehouses, and ERPs.
• Build telemetry dashboards and monitor agent performance and health.
• Collaborate with customers and Salesforce teams to feed edge cases into product roadmaps.
