Job summary

Salesforce seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to design, implement, and deploy enterprise AI solutions inside customer environments. You’ll join an agile pod, connecting advanced AI agents to the broader enterprise tech landscape and writing production code.

You will build real-time grounding systems, define agent workflows, and develop APIs to connect Agentforce with Salesforce Data Cloud, Snowflake, SAP, Oracle, and NetSuite, ensuring reliable, scalable deployments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering or technical delivery experience.
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Apex.
• Hands-on AI grounding, LLM orchestration, and building RAG pipelines.
• API design experience (REST/SOAP/webhooks) and modern agent protocols (MCP, tool calling).
• Experience with MuleSoft or custom middleware to bridge AI with legacy ERP systems.
• Data modeling, schema design, and asynchronous integration patterns.

Responsibilities

• Build, configure, and optimize complex multi-agent workflows and reasoning.
• Implement agent communication standards and MCP for cross-agent task hand-offs.
• Architect real-time data grounding systems using RAG, vectors, and knowledge bases.
• Develop and maintain APIs and integration pipelines to Salesforce Data Cloud, Snowflake, Databricks, SAP/Oracle/NetSuite.
• Incorporate AI tools into daily workflows to translate architecture into deployable code quickly.
