Job summary

Brown & Root Industrial Services seeks helpers to construct, fabricate, install and dismantle formwork for concrete structures. The role involves reading blueprints, laying out forms, and assembling timber and metal supports on site.

Candidates should have basic field experience and the ability to work at heights. The position involves operating hand and power tools and complying with safety and project rules on a construction site.

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret instructions and documentation.
• High school diploma or equivalent with field experience preferred.
• Able to work at heights and follow safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Build wooden structures, scaffolds, and forms according to plans.
• Examine blueprints to determine materials and dimensions.
• Move materials to the work site and prepare layouts for fabrication.
• Measure and mark materials and cut to size with hand tools.
• Verify accuracy of structures with level, plumb, and square.
• Set and brace forms for concrete piers and walls.
• Erect scaffolding and install ladders, rails, and walkways.
• Install pre-fabricated windows, doors, and exterior trims.
• Perform routine maintenance and clean up on site.
