Job summary

Brown & Root Industrial Services seeks a skilled construction laborer to prepare sites, operate concrete tools, and assist with forming and pouring concrete. The role involves assisting in setting up forms, handling materials, and maintaining equipment.

The position requires reading plans, working safely at heights, and following project guidelines. A strong emphasis on teamwork and adherence to safety is essential for daily tasks and site coordination.

Qualifications

• Plan work and select proper tools.
• Read and interpret plans and specifications.
• Work at heights with safety.
• Follow safety rules and wear PPE.

Responsibilities

• Operate jackhammers and drills to break up concrete or pavement.
• Position, join, align and seal structural components.
• Mix, pour, and spread concrete using mixer and tools.
• Signal equipment operators for alignment and movement of machinery.
• Finish freshly poured cement with floats, trowels, or screeds.
• Tend to machines that pump concrete, grout, and sand.
• Provide power for tools via pumps, compressors, and generators.
• Lubricate, clean and repair machinery and tools.
• Read and interpret plans to determine work activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety and project rules.
