Job summary

Brown & Root Industrial Services in Wisconsin is seeking Helpers with at least 6 months field experience in carpentry and forms. You will read instructions, interpret blueprints, and construct, fabricate, install, and dismantle form work of metal, wood and other materials.

Responsibilities include building forms and scaffolds per plans, loading materials, laying out forms, using measuring tools, nailing, bracing, erecting frames, and maintaining safety on site while following supervisor guidance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with prior field experience.
• Familiarity with common carpentry concepts and procedures.
• Supervised work; ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Builds forms and scaffolds per plans and oral instructions.
• Reads blueprints to determine materials and dimensions.
• Prepares layout and marks cutting lines on materials.
• Uses carpentry hand and power tools.
• Erects scaffolding and installs ladders, rails and platforms.
• Ensures safety and adheres to project rules.
