Brown & Root Industrial Services in Houston area seeks a Journeyman carpenter with documented field experience to read blueprints, fabricate and install form work, and perform related carpentry duties on site.

The role requires ability to plan, load materials, operate hand and power tools, and work safely at height, following project guidelines. The position is integral to construction crews delivering concrete structures and supports.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent with field experience.
• Able to read blueprints and plans.
• Follow safety rules and project guidelines.

Responsabilités

• Build wooden structures and forms according to blueprints or oral instructions.
• Examine blueprints to determine materials and dimensions.
• Prepare layout of form or fixture and mark cutting lines.
• Operate electric and pneumatic tools to cut and assemble materials.
• Erect scaffolding, install ladders, handrails, and platforms.
• Ensure adherence to safety and project rules.
