Job summary

Brown & Root Industrial Services is seeking a Journeyman Carpenter with 3+ years of field experience to construct, install, and dismantle formwork for concrete structures. You will read blueprints, plan layouts, and perform work independently using hand and power tools.

The role involves building forms, scaffolding, and braces, ensuring accuracy with transit and levels, and complying with safety and project rules on site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with field experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and plans.
• Experience with formwork and concrete structures.

Responsibilities

• Builds wooden structures, such as stairs, forms, scaffolds per blueprints or instructions.
• Reads blueprints to determine materials and dimensions.
• Lays out and installs partitions and cabinet work.
• Operates hand and power tools.
• Assembles forms and braces for concrete piers and walls.
• Erects scaffolding and installs ladders, walkways.
