Qualifications

• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Must follow instructions and established guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Builds wooden structures per blueprints or instructions.
• Interpret blueprints to determine materials and dimensions.
• Load and haul job material to site.
• Prepare layout of form or fixture.
• Measure and mark cutting lines on materials.
• Verify accuracy with transit, plumb bob, square and level.
• Use carpentry hand tools to cut and assemble.
• Nail cleats and braces for concrete forms.
• Erect scaffolding and ladders; install handrails and platforms.
• Construct forms, chutes, align panels for pouring.
• Install window frames, doors, weather stripping, trim.
• Tie rebar; operate electric/pneumatic tools.
• Rig materials as needed.
• Observe safety rules; perform other duties.
